David Marom is originally from Israel. When he immigrated to the United States, his first real job was working for his father-in-law‘s construction firm. This led to enrolling in construction management classes at New York University and getting the education necessary to build a better career. It was his first solo project in 1985 that helped Marom turn the corner. Working on an office development on Long Island, Marom developed Smithtown Professional Park. This project and many others would eventually form what is known today as The Horizon Group.
